Mrs. Karla Lujan

First Grade Regular Program Teacher

My name is Mrs. Karla Lujan. I am married to my husband, Samuel, and we have two fur babies Mei Lin and Mai Lie.  

I have 19years of teaching experience in public and private education, including being a Reading Recovery teacher. This will be my 5th year teaching at Sam Rosen. I received my Bachelors from Northwestern University in St Paul MN and my Masters in Reading from Concordia Texas in Austin.

Mrs. Monica Glenn

Pre-Kindergarten Inclusion PPCD Teacher

Monica Glenn has been teaching for 8 years, this is her 7th year at Sam Rosen and there is nowhere else she would rather be. Originally from Oklahoma, she has lived in Texas for 30 years. Her entire family lives here and they all live very close together. Ms. Glenn has two "babies," Mitzi and Winston, her pitbull and german shepherd. She is a ballet/tap teacher at The Plaza Academy in her spare time and is involved in theatre around the DFW area. She also has 7 nieces and nephews, and two great nieces. She is the world's BEST Aunt! Ms. Glenn loves to travel, she has been to New York, Paris and Spain, but her favorite place is Disney World.
