Hola, me llamo Marcia Bender y soy parte de la escuela Sam Rosen desde hace 26 años. Para mí es un privilegio seguir sirviendo a esta comunidad del norte de Fort Worth. Nací en Oaxaca, México. Estudié la carrera de Lingüística Aplicada con énfasis en Traducción en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Soy TIGRES de corazón. Tengo tres hermosos hijos y nos encanta ir juntos a la iglesia, ver películas, pintar y jugar con nuestros tres perritos.

Hello, my name is Marcia Bender and I’ve been part of Sam Rosen Elementary School for 26 years. It’s a privilege to continue serving the North Side community of Fort Worth. I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. I studied Applied Linguistics at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Go Tigres! I have three beautiful children. As a family, we like to go to church together, watch movies, paint, and play with our three dogs.

Kindergarten Regular Program ESL Teacher

My name is Kathy Shah. I am a Kindergarten teacher this year. This is my 21st year of Elementary Education. I am a proud and loyal Sam Rosen Eagle for 15 years too. I was born and raised in Indiana and I graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. My passion is to convey compassion in the lives of our future educators and leaders of tomorrow. My interests are traveling internationally, cooking cultural foods, watching movies, swimming, and spending time with my family.

My name is Kristen Comer and I am thrilled to be at Sam Rosen. This is my 22nd year of teaching. I have four awesome children, three amazing stepchildren, and a wonderful husband, Danny.
