Hola, me llamo Marcia Bender y soy parte de la escuela Sam Rosen desde hace 27 años. Para mí es un privilegio seguir sirviendo a esta comunidad del norte de Fort Worth. Nací en Oaxaca, México. Estudié la carrera de Lingüística Aplicada con énfasis en Traducción en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Soy TIGRES de corazón. Tengo tres hermosos hijos y nos encanta ir juntos a la iglesia, ver películas, pintar y jugar con nuestros tres perritos.

Hello, my name is Marcia Bender and I’ve been part of Sam Rosen Elementary School for 27 years. It’s a privilege to continue serving the North Side community of Fort Worth. I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. I studied Applied Linguistics at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Go Tigres! I have three beautiful children. As a family, we like to go to church together, watch movies, paint, and play with our three dogs.

"Hello, I am Ms. Garcia and I teach 1st grade here at Sam Rosen Elementary! 

 

I was born and raised here in Fort Worth, Texas and I graduated from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!). I am the first person in my family to graduate from university so that is something I take great pride in. In my free time I love to read, hang out with family and friends, and travel. I also love to watch college football.

 

Growing up I have always known that I wanted to become a teacher. I enjoy the process of watching students grow and seeing the amount of progress they have made no matter how big or small."
