Second Grade Regular Program Teacher

A little bit about myself: This year will be my 11th year as an educator. I taught at Kirkpatrick Elementary before coming to Sam Rosen. Prior to teaching, I worked in the banking industry. I am married to a wonderful man named Abel. I don't have children of my own, but I have two of the best step-daughters and two granddaughters. I love traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Yaire Martinez

2nd Grade Dual Language

Hello! My name is Yaire Martinez, and I’m proud to have been born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a proud product of Fort Worth ISD, having attended Sam Rosen Elementary and later graduating from North Side High School. I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Education from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Outside of the classroom, I’m passionate about staying active and enjoy engaging in fitness activities that keep me energized and focused. I also have a love for travel and aim to visit a new country each year. I’m always eager to explore new cultures, perspectives, and experiences that broaden my understanding of the world.

I’m incredibly excited to return to Sam Rosen Elementary, this time as a teacher. It’s a true full-circle moment, and I feel honored to contribute to the same school community that helped shape me. I look forward to supporting and inspiring our next generation of learners in a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering environment. GO EAGLES!
