Third Grade Dual Language Teacher

Hello! My name is Liliana Vargas. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  I attended FWISD from elementary all the way to high school. I graduated Texas Tech University where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.

In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies and spending time with my family.

I am super excited to be teaching at Sam Rosen Elementary. I strive to help all my students discover their full potential and instill in them the importance of academics as they will become our future leaders. I am excited to start a new school year and look forward to making many wonderful memories with my students. Go Eagles!

Ms. Juana Garcia

First grade Regular Program Teacher

"Hello, I am Ms. Garcia and I teach 1st grade here at Sam Rosen Elementary! 

I was born and raised here in Fort Worth, Texas and I graduated from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!). I am the first person in my family to graduate from university so that is something I take great pride in. In my free time I love to read, hang out with family and friends, and travel. I also love to watch college football.

Growing up I have always known that I wanted to become a teacher. I enjoy the process of watching students grow and seeing the amount of progress they have made no matter how big or small."

Mrs. Shah

2nd Grade Regular Program Teacher

My name is Mrs. Shah. I am a Second Grade Teacher at Sam Rosen Elementary. I have been teaching at Sam Rosen for 21 years. This year will be 25 years teaching for FWISD. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Indiana State University. I have one daughter and one son, and I have been married for 15 years. I enjoy teaching all grade levels, but my favorite one is 2^nd grade.
