I graduated from North Side High School, then received my associates from TCC and my bachelors in early education with a minor in Spanish from Texas Wesleyan University. This is my 15th year teaching and I have taught them all at Sam Rosen. I have taught second, third, fourth and now fifth grade. I enjoy teaching at Sam Rosen thanks to the wonderful students, families, and school staff.
Me gradué de la preparatoria de North Side, después recibí mi título de asociado de la TCC y mi bachillerato en los grados primarios con una subespecialidad en español de la universidad de Texas Wesleyan. Es mi decimocuarto año como maestra y los he trabajado todos aquí en la Sam Rosen. He enseñado segundo, tercero, cuarto y ahora quinto grado. Disfruto enseñar aquí en la Sam Rosen gracias a los maravillosos estudiantes, familias y el personal de la escuela.

I am starting my 26th year of teaching and looking forward to teaching 5th grade this year. I graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I received my Masters from Wayland Baptist in Instructional Leadership. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, watching sports, and outside activities. I am very excited to be a Mimi again to our soon to be born 4th grandchild.

Hello! My name is Haley Vogt and I am super excited to be a part of the 5th grade team at Sam Rosen. This is my 8th year teaching. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Applied Sciences Early Childhood - 6th grade General Education with a focus in English as a Second Language.
As an educator I am passionate about empowering students to be the change the wish to see in the world. I believe the school is the heart of the community and I am so thankful I get to serve our community each and every day. When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and dog, baking cookies, and watching football. I am looking forward to a great school year!
