Ms. Alondra Hernández

Kindergarten Dual Language Teacher

My name is Alondra Hernández, and I have been teaching in FWISD for 16 years. I went to Texas Wesleyan. I used to be a teacher assistant for Pre-K. I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade. I love Kindergarten, especially seeing their writing in the beginning and end. It brings tears to my eyes to watch the growth! I love watching my students grow and learn. I also love seeing my students get excited about learning as well as making it fun for them. My number one priority is for them to be successful in life socially and academically. I always tell them do not ever say you can’t. Those words do not exist. You have to say “Si se puede”.

I have 2 daughters, Kayla 15 and Nataly 13. They are in mariachi. I love hearing them play their violin and guitar. I like to spend time with my daughters and grandma singing mariachi songs, I also love going to the movies, spending time with my family, reading books especially mystery, and doing crafts.
