Resource Teachers
Mr. Glenn Omar
Special Education Inclusion Teacher
I am excited to be part of the Sam Rosen Elementary School family. I have been an educator for fifteen years, eleven of those being a Special education teacher and four years as an administrator. I was in the military before I became an educator. I have a bachelor's degree in Aircraft Technology and a master's degree in Education. I am happily married with three beautiful children, and I play the guitar during my spare time. My philosophy of education is “children are individually unique, and a positive stimulating environment is a must in order for them to reach their potential and be productive not only academically, but in life as well.”
I know that Sam Rosen commits to world class education and to a strong partnership with parents and community as it values each student’s potential and character. Truly an excellent place to educate and serve our children.

Resource Teacher
With 19 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students across grades kindergarten through 8th. Throughout my career, I have taught various subjects, including Science, Math, Reading and Special Education, while also fostering a bilingual classroom environment. My journey in education has allowed me to work in various roles, from classroom teaching to serving as an instructional coach and school administrator. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the needs of both students and teachers, helping me to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.
What motivates me most in my career is the opportunity to engage students in their learning and empower them to become confident, lifelong learners. Teaching is not just a career for me – it is a meaningful and fulfilling journey that drives my commitment to making a positive impact every day.

I’m so excited to officially be part of the Sam Rosen family, as I had the privilege of completing my internship here last year. I recently graduated from Abilene Christian University with a master’s degree and am looking forward to beginning my first year in FWISD as a licensed school psychologist! When I’m not working, I love to read, play with my adorable dog, listen to Taylor Swift, and travel to new places (my goal is to make it to all 50 states!). I’m looking forward to building relationships with the staff and students at Sam Rosen this school year!
